Let Sleeping Dogs…
The Dogs D’Amour
(King Outlaw)

A lot of rock fan’s secret like; Dogs D’Amour peddle a vintage of intelligent glam that was later found in the Wildhearts. This is whiskey soaked dirty blues at its best with all the passion and grime to make it believable. Tyla, like Ginger, is a fairly prolific songwriter who releases generally good to excellent material under various guises. This time he has returned to the Dog’s name to show us all how it is really done. Fellow glam-rocker frontman Spike appears on this CD and co-wrote the excellent track ‘Life’s a Pain’. The album reeks of gothic-tinged glam. Just check out the title track. You may feel like having a bath after listening to this CD but it will be hard to wipe the smile off your face. Quality stuff from an under-rated and amazingly talented band.
