Shira’s take:
When was I young, my older step-brother would rave about Robert Greene’s The 48 Laws of Power, the global bestseller that he cherished as his personal bible. He would underline and bookmark notable sections, and then repeat Greene’s words as if preaching an unconventional sermon.
With my brother’s antics still a vivid memory, I find myself six years later sitting down to interview Robert Greene. While execs and rappers may revere his wisdom, he is not a god as many people imagine him to be. I realized that despite his monumental intelligence, he is low key and normal just like you and me.
