“Amy stared at the handsome face so close to hers, a face so beloved that she answered the only way she could, she snuggled closer to him and laced her fingers through his, resting her head on his shoulders. The night air had turned cooler and Amy shivered. Wordlessly, Drake lifted her as if she weighed no more than a child and settled her on his lap. Warmth enveloped Amy as she gradually relaxed her body and felt the frustration of the past few days leave her. They were both enslaved by the passion that burned so hotly between them and the bond that had formed against all adversaries.”

What are some of your favorite ways to promote your work?

I have used social media: advertising on Goodreads, Facebook and Twitter. I plan to use other blogs and websites catering to Teens in the future. I have also used Book Giveaways and plan to do more, both online and offline.

What is a typical writing day like for you?

I usually write for a couple of hours during the first half of the day while my kid is in school. But I usually get most of my work done by burning the midnight candle.

What are some ways that you like to relax?

I love reading and taking long walks with my dog.

What author/s do you think are overlooked in the writing/reading world today?

I think Rohinton Mistry is a brilliant author who is underrated. More people should read his books – he is simply brilliant.

What author would you most like to meet and why?

Enid Blyton; I devoured her books while growing up and her Enchanted Forest Series were my first books in the ‘fantasy’ genre.

Do you have any upcoming projects that you would like to share with readers?

I am currently working on the next book in the Voluspa series – Amy and Drake’s adventure continues.

What is something about yourself that would come as a surprise to many people?

As a child I was a terrible introvert and used to stutter until the fourth grade.
