If you could give one book promotion tip to new authors, what would that be?
Randy Sue: Do what you can on behalf of your baby without draining vital creative juices. If you’re an introvert — like many writers are, including myself — this can be a tough balancing act. What’s helped me most is talking to other authors who are more extroverted and really good at marketing, then cherry-picking the ideas that seem most viable.
What’s next for you?
Randy Sue: Another novel that I’m in the early stages of writing and outlining, even though for me, outlining is less of a guide than a direction — a device that tricks the over-analytical left-brain side of me into thinking I know where I’m headed so that it can relax and let the more visionary right-brain side take over the controls.
Thank you for this interview, Randy Sue. Can you tell us where we can find you on the web?
