Do you have a favorite line or excerpt that you would like to share from your book?
My favorite line is what the character of the attorney, John Nastic, tells Nathan and Shari at their first deposition: “You asked, I answered. I assumed you wanted honesty.”
They have gotten themselves into quite a legal mess, and their attorney has a take-no-prisoners attitude towards them. I wanted that character to be as cold and calculating as possible.
What are some of your favorite ways to promote your work?
I love promoting online. I believe blogs and book review sites are the best and most potent way for an author to promote their books. Everybody is online these days, and if you want to get your book and name out there, I think an online book/blog tour is ideal.
What is a typical writing day like for you?

Well, I have a preschooler and an older child, and getting them off to school in the morning is my first priority. Then, when it’s quiet, I take a few hours to do a bit of writing, even if it’s only notes or an outline. I believe that writing a little bit everyday helps. I don’t want to get rusty. As a mom, I write when I have the time.
What are some ways that you like to relax?
I work out four days a week. I find that cardio is the best way for me to relax and unwind. I am addicted to the endorphins when I do a full work out. I usually do cardio for about forty minutes, then stretch, and then about twenty minutes of the resistance training. I also eat healthy, swim and bike ride. Sometimes, I just get into the mood for a nice glass of red wine.
What author/s do you think are overlooked in the writing/reading world today?
I think that there are way too many to name. There are loads of great small publishers out there with talented unknown authors with amazing stories to tell. I have friends who are published with smaller publishers and I always put their books on my reading lists. There are just a whole bunch of excellent stories and authors out there.
