Interview: Dr. Mitchell E. Gibson, Author of Nine Insights For a Happy and Successful Life

Dr. Mitchell Gibson is one of the world’s leading authorities on the interface of science, the human soul, and the frontiers of human consciousness. He is the best-selling author of Your Immortal Body of Light, Signs of Mental Illness, Signs of Psychic and Spiritual Ability, The Living Soul, and Ancient Teaching Stories.

Tell us a bit about yourself.

I am a board-certified psychiatrist and I have been writing for over 15 years. I grew up in the deep south and a lot of my work is shaped by my experiences as both a southerner and a physician. I have lectured and spoken in many different parts of the world and I write full time.

What made you first decide to become a writer?

I practiced psychiatry full time for over 15 years. Quite often, ideas would flow into my mind during sessions with clients and I could hardly wait until the end of the session to write them down. Over the years, I built up quite a lot of notes. Those notes are now the basis of much of what I write.
