Interview: C. Elizabeth, Author of Absolute Obsession

C. Elizabeth didn't set out to discover writing, instead it discovered her.  For Ms. Elizabeth, writing is the ultimate escape into peacefulness.  The ability to bring characters and stories to life, for readers, brings her much excitement and delight.

Absolute Obsession is C. Elizabeth's first novel and is a delightful contemporary romance, whose characters used Ms. Elizabeth as a vessel to express themselves and their story.

C. Elizabeth resides in St. Albert, Alberta, Canada.  Readers can discover mor about Ms. Elizabeth and her work by visiting her website, Twitter, and Facebook

Please tell us a bit about your book, Absolute Obsession, and what you hope readers take away from reading it.

For 42 year old Rose Gerbaldi, life is tiring and she finds herself absorbed in a self-created fantasy realm while reading a book. Little does she know that with each word read, fate is conspiring to intervene, ultimately catapulting 30 year old, inhumanly beautiful, British movie star, Michael Terrance, into her life. When reality reclaims her, the lives that fate had so lovingly entwined, are consequently devastated, leaving each certain that they will never find that for which they long for. Can fate withstand the force of reality?

I am excited to have the characters of Absolute Obsession come to life in readers’ minds – this is what excites me the most. I want the readers to get lost in the novel, wanting more as they turn each page. Most of all I want them to feel every emotion the characters have, connecting with them, ultimately taking the reader into another life, away from the everyday busyness we all seem to surround ourselves with.

Who are your favorite characters in the story?

My favorite character is Michael. Though the main voice is Rose, Michael is the driving force behind the whole novel.
