With his expanding power, Bishop De'Unnero has taken over complete control of Palmaris, in the second part of The DemonWars Saga. He has put out an edict that requires everyone who has magical stones, even those that have, over the years, been purchased by merchants and individuals must be turned in. Using an iron hand, the penalty can be death if you try to conceal the stones, which are now considered property of the Abellican church.
Pony, who has been hiding in Palmaris, and who has concealing the fact that she is pregnant, is attempting to put together a resistance movement to take on the tyrant of church. Elbryan is still in the north and has been working to help rebuild Dundalis. Father Abbot Markwart continues to use his magic to control his church and his growing empire which will soon take on the King.
Once again I was treated to a Graphic Audio performance that really brings you into the story. The combination of sound effects and artistic vocal performances creates what Graphic Audio calls a “Movie in your Mind” and that is truly what The DemonWars Saga: The Demon Apostle – Part II is.
Using his forbidden magic, Father Abbot Markwart works with Abbott De'Unnero at the abbey of Saint Precious to quietly remove power from King Danube and placing it in control of the church. Not unaware, the King has heard the rumblings that have been going on in Palmaris and is concerned about what the Bishop is doing, and is determined to rein in control.
Roger Lockless and his band of renegade Abellican brothers lead by Brother Braumin are on the road looking for Elbryan and the centaur Bradwarden. When they find them, they are eager to learn about Avelyn, his teachings, and how he defeated the Demon Dactyl. More importantly they want to see where Avelyn died.
