Get Rich Or Die Writin'

Following in the footsteps of such hip-hop luminaries as Russell Simmons (Life and Def: Sex, Drugs, Money, and God), Reverend Mason Betha (Revelations: There's Light After the Lime), the late Tupac Shakur (The Rose That Grew from Concrete) and more recently DMX (E.A.R.L.: The Autobiography of DMX), hip-hop toughie 50 Cent wants to dabble in the book publishing game as well. The 26-year-old rhyme-spitter is looking for a publisher willing to buy the rights to his life story. He's asking for more than six figures for his autobiography titled Number One With Nine Bullets.

The book, which will be co-written by XXL scribe Vanessa Satten, will read "like a Donald Goines novel: Murder. Drugs. The true thug life. Ghetto depression. Determination. Mad beats. Phat rap lyrics," according to 50's proposal. The tome will also feature 25 unreleased poems and pictures directly from 50's scrapbooks. The book is expected to be finished by September just in time for the holiday season.
