Twelve Nights tells the story of Angela and Aggie, identical twin sisters. One is a high-class call girl, the other a librarian. They haven't seen each other for a while, but when Angela comes up with a harebrained plan to net herself $120k, she decides to call her sister in to help her.
Resistant at first, Aggie then agrees to the plan, and the two of them set about taking it in turns to spend time with millionaire Jimmy, who put an ad in the New York Times to get a woman to spend twelve nights with him. Between them, the twins both seduce and totally confuse Jimmy, who thinks perhaps Aggie — the name he's been given — has some kind of split personality disorder. What doesn't help is that his lawyer, Richard, is also attracted to Aggie — and the men believe they're both crazy about the same woman.
What ensues is a very messy story, complicated further by the arrival of the twins' father, and Aggie's boyfriend. Will it all work out for the best, or have the twins bitten off more than they can chew?
Overall, this was a pretty good book. The storyline was intriguing and fun, the sex hot and the action page-turning, with a very satisfactory ending. There were a few errors here and there, and bits that could have done with tidying up, but on the whole, I very much enjoyed Twelve Nights and would be interested to see what happens to Angela and Aggie next.
