eBook Review: Love Beyond Sanity by Rebecca Royce

I read and reviewed the first book in this series, Love Beyond Time, a while back and enjoyed it, so I jumped at the chance to review the next book in the series.

Love Beyond Sanity, though it deals with many of the same characters, is a different part of the same story. There's enough background given that you could probably read it as a standalone book, though of course you wouldn't get the same experience as if you'd read the first one. So I'd recommend checking out the other one first ;)

Anyway, onto Book Two. This tale focusses mainly on the Outsider Charma. Eighteen years ago, she lost her soulmate. Believing him dead, she's kept this knowledge a secret rather than letting the other Outsiders know that the prophecy about the eighteen of them actually only involved seventeen, and therefore may not be true.

However, whatever Charma believes is about to be shaken when she and Outsider Marina go off in search of two other Outsiders — and there he is. Her soulmate. Jason is in a coma in a mental health institute, and she and Marina must release him, before the two demons determined to destroy all of their group catch up with them.

But it seems Charma has two battles on her hands — one with the lethal demons, and one with Jason's inner ones, which are telling him that she's not real. Can Charma convince Jason that she and the other Outsiders are indeed real, or will he become another victim of the Darkness?

As I mentioned in my review of the first title, these books aren't erotica, per se, but very romantic books with sexy bits, not to mention one hell of a plot. There's romance, tension, action, danger and some humour, too — so if this sounds like your cup of tea, then I'd definitely recommend this book. You'll be gripped from beginning to end.
