If you've read my reviews of The Siren and The Angel, you'll know how eager I was to get my hands on this book. And just when I thought Tiffany Reisz's books couldn't get any better--she released The Prince. This is by far my favourite of the series so far--I'd give it six out of five if I could!
I suspect this is a lot to do with this story following my favourite character, Wesley Railey. I've been a sucker for him throughout, just as Nora Sutherlin has. Now, though, Nora has run from terrifying priest Soren and headed down south to Kentucky, to be with Wes, also known as the Prince of Kentucky. Much of the book tells what happens when the two of them are together, which I enjoyed immensely.
The other part of the story follows Soren and Kingsley, as they revisit their past and we find out just how the two of them came to be how they are together. They're also untangling an incredibly messy web of lies, deceit and pain, of the physical and emotional kind, and discovering that their history isn't quite as ancient as they thought.
I loved finding out more about all the characters involved in this book, and was totally hooked from beginning to end. The Prince really dug deep and unearthed emotions, and although it had less sex than the previous two books, I still thought it was super hot. It also (again!) had an ending that made me even more eager to read the next book to find out what happens next. Bravo, Ms. Reisz, you've done it again. Roll on the release of The Mistress.
