    Gabriel:
    You were graced to know Misia, who sat by Padorevsky when he played for her Mother in the Bristol Hotel in Warsaw, before the Nazis burned it. I was blessed to have known her in the 70's & 80's, when she was studying for her degree. She represents the part of the spectrum of of Polish settlers here in America who brought great depth and complexity to their experience.
