One of the hazards (or benefits) of being a crafter is the inevitable stash of beads, fabric, thread, felt, and other supplies that seems to accumulate. I don't always want to run out and buy new supplies each time I'm in the mood to craft. There are times I would like to be able to use what's in my stash. Generally, smaller sized projects are ideal for using up your stash of supplies because you can use scraps instead of having to buy yardage. When I saw a book titled Stash Happy Felt: 30 Fun Projects for Felt (and Fabric) Lovers, I knew it was right up my alley.
There is a really great variety of craft projects included in Stash Happy Felt. The projects range from very simple, like a bookmark, to more complicated, such as a wallflower pocket. There are crafts that can be used for gifts, as home decor, plush toys, and even clothing and fashions. Each project includes a full size color photograph so you can see what the finished item should look like. There are also many close-up photographs of individual parts of the project plus drawings and diagrams to follow. There are detailed directions written step-by-step that are easy to follow and understand, even for the new crafter. The supply list is broken down into items you should have in your stash and items you may need to purchase from the store.
