Book Review: She Comes First - Page 4

Whew! I'm all out of breath after that sentence. [And where's that E.B. White when I need him?]

So the bulk of Part II describes cunnilingus techniques that you can employ during each of the six stages in order to bring your partner to the desired state of arousal for each stage. It also includes an explanation, with diagrams, of proper cunnilingus positions that maximize comfort and enjoyment for both partners.

Part III contains scripted coreplay scenarios for aspiring Mr. [or Ms.] Pussys, delineating "clear routines for seamlessly integrating the techniques into a unified experience," and divided into sections for beginning, intermediate, and advanced tongue users. Kerner included a few scripts for each level, all detailing which techniques to use when, according to the coreplay stages.

I see one downside to the scripts: real-time usability. Is someone supposed to read a script, memorize it — the scripts are fairly detailed — and then employ it with his or her partner? I'm not sure that's likely to happen exactly that way. Is the woman supposed to help out by reading from the book and directing traffic while her partner goes down on her? Mmmmmm....no. So while I like the idea of the scripts, I'm not sure how easily someone can use them once the clothes come off.

Overall, however, She Comes First is a very detailed, well written, and highly important sex manual. Ladies, if you want to convince your partner to toss away the pedestal and really make sure you come first, buy him or her this book. And you just might find that you don't want to ever set the new Mr. or Ms. Pussy free.

Was that a review of "Eats, Shoots, and Leaves, The Panda Paradigm of the Male role in female satisfaction?"

    Smiley thing.

Good review, but are the snarky remarks about supposed male inferiority really necessary? Why has putting down men with broad generalizations about their cluelesness become an acceptable form of humour? It's not clever, and detracts from otherwise intelligent commentary.

Eats, Shoots, and Leaves. haha. that is gold.

I agree that the male stupidity/inferiority stuff doesn't help. The men reading this review/book are probably of the superior variety anyway
