Book Review: Noah's Ark: Ancient Accounts and New Discoveries by Henri Nissen - Page 2

Part two of the book discusses the great discovery of the Ark by the Chinese and Noah's Ark Ministries International. You will learn about what was found on Mt. Ararat and different theories about the dating of its age. There are a number of interviews included with people involved in the discovery and search for more information. This section contains a great number of color photographs of the wooden structure found on Mt. Ararat as well as official coverage of the discovery as it appeared in Hong Kong, China, and Holland. The section also takes a look at the climb up Mt. Ararat by a Danish mountaineer after NAMI officially cancelled their expedition. The book  looks at doubts about whether or not the discovery by the Chinese is a hoax.

Part three is a wrap up and an overall look at Noah's Ark and the possible discovery on Mt. Ararat. This section gives a great overview of the various theories on the discovery and the different thoughts of both faith and science. It also examines different stories that may support the great flood like the drowned cities in the Pacific Ocean and Atlantis. You'll also learn about different events in history that may be related to the great flood like the meteor showers before the flood and other scientific data. Noah's Ark: Ancient Accounts and New Discoveries by Henri Nissen is a truly amazing resource. It is loaded with photographs, maps, charts, drawings, and information about Noah's Ark and the great flood.  It also contains a time table of pre-historic times for reference and a look at The Book of Jasher (which is named twice in The Old Testament) and how it relates to Noah's Ark. It is truly a comprehensive work on the subject.
