Book Review: No More Dating Pigs: You Are What You Date by Norah Marler - Page 2

There is also a score sheet that can quickly provide an answer to “Am I dating a pig?,” foolproof ways to say “hit the road, pal,” a checklist for picking an online dating service, and a guide to pampering yourself with a “Me Day.” Presumably, once you know what it’s like to feel good, you will know who doesn’t make you feel that way, and you can tell him to split. Permanently.

Marler imparts the essential elements involved in building a strong relationship, including knowledge, preparation, courage, and realism. And, in true Jersey-girl style, offers this thought, “I cried when I had no man with me, Until I saw a woman who had no dignity.”

Marler's humorous-but-no-nonsense approach leaves readers with a plethora of ideas for improving their lives, without being preachy.  There are so many women who are willing to settle; why then should the pigs change? If enough women follow No More Dating Pigs’ advice, they’ll have no choice.

Bottom Line: Would I buy No More Dating Pigs? Yes, especially for young women who need some friendly yet solid advice (which is nearly all of them).
