Book Review: Meet God and His Son: Bible Bites, Personal Devotions by Shirley Kufeldt

Part of: Reviews in Brief

Meet God and His Son: Bible Bites, Personal Devotions is a unique little book with a wonderful message — salvation is possible. All we have to do is to repent and acknowledge that we are a sinner.

This small journal-type book, part of a series, will help the reader gain salvation by reading the various scriptural passages contained in the book and meditating on them. Each of these Bible passages will encourage the reader to allow God to enter their heart and to invite God into their lives wholeheartedly.

We can do this by being honest with God and to stop living and acting in our usual sinful ways. We must instead strive to practise the truth with humility, and grace.

We can do this by following God’s commandments and believing in Him. Then we will have the peace of mind and heart that we truly deserve in Christ Jesus.

This book can be carried anywhere we go to remind us that God is always with us, ready to meet us in all of our trials and tribulations. The format of the book also allows us to write notes and respond to the scriptural passages.

It is a book that I will carry with me everywhere I go as a reminder that I am not alone.

Thank you Shirley for such a wonderfully inspiring book just in time for Christmas!
