The text is very informative and full color pictures are seen throughout.

pictures which depict this phenomena diagrammatically.

There are very valuable writings carved onto the walls and caves in Egypt and in other places. Samples of these writings are contained in the book. Lastly, the Cave at Lascaux, France has very valuable frescoes dating back to 15,000 BCE. Kriesberg provides samples of these frescoes.
