Book Review: I Liked It, Didn't Love It - Page 2

The authors have worked in Hollywood for over fifteen years as studio and development executives; they've developed and sold scripts and taught feature film development classes at UCLA. They explore a number of aspects of the development process from the writer's perspective, especially in the context of how to find new ideas, how to react to readers or development execs, and how to "pitch" your work. It isn't the most scintillating exploration of the process and can be a bit dry at times, but it is a good little book that offers glimpse behind the scenes of the studio machine.

Sounds like a great book for writers. Will have to see if my local library carries this, but that's unlikely.
