I think Harry is a stalker on Ginny. He has weird dreams with him and Ginny walking down the lake. He also has another creature inisde him that purrs at her name. The most stunning moment is when Harry kisses Ginny in front of everybody after they win the Quiddtich match. Harry is a buckin fastard.

why does everyone in the book just blindly accept the account of what happened in the potter home on the night that 3 people died and one baby became the boy who lived? were there any witnesses (apart from the baby that is)?! who started that wild story (that describes the sequence of events and curses/charms supposedly used +/- backfired) that everyone seems to regard as the truth? it's a pretty detailed account of an event with no surviving witnesses. did hagrid (who supposedly went to the scene to get harry) and dumbledore devise this story to hide something? or was there someone else in the house that we don't know about yet?

good question. i can't remember but i'm sure theres some were in the book that explains this. isn't ti kinda like our ferensics (i dont think iv spelt that right) that they can found out wat ppl died of and wen. so they would no that since there was no physical evidencet it was probibly the avada kedavra spell and they can find out wen they died?

other than that, I have to say that most of the book was just BS except by the 2 fisrt chapters and the last 10. too much romantisism..what's the point of Lupin's and tonks relationship??? did anybody really care??
hope the next book is better, with more magic, surprises and unespected twist.

here's is my take on what happened in the potter house on that fateful night:
1. voldy cast avada kedavra ONLY ONCE that night. it was aimed at james potter. this kill was going to be used to make harry a living horcrux.
2. i postulate that voldy thought making a living horcrux was the only route to immortality (that whole body snatching when your own current body becomes used up idea, then repeat the cycle)
3. it was THIS spell (and not avada kedavra) that failed and backfired, leaving harry with a scar and voldy with no body.
4. lily evans (who is in no way powerful enough to block the strongest curse delivered by the strongest dark wizard (ie avada kedavra by voldy)) did NOT in fact use some fancy pants ancient magic to block avada kedavra at all. rather, she sacrificed herself to invoke a charm that created a BARRIER around harry to BLOCK VOLDY'S SOUL from entering.
thus, 3 people died that night in very different manners and one baby lived, but NOT by surviving the spell he would later become famous for for surviving. that's my theory.

I thought it was a good book. Having read and re-read the book I can now see the things that many other people saw before me. If you look closely you can see signs that Dumbledor is really not dead, well in my mind he is not. But in others he may be dead. I chose not to believe it because of the evidence in the book. I found it nice that Harry noticed his feelings toward Ginny. Having Ron and Hermione get together now was just something that had to happen, i saw the hints in the other books and i knew that it would lead them to become more then just friends. All around i thought the book was good, i did think that the end was to packed with information like JK was trying to hard to et in all the information to us.

i just reread the chapter where snape supposedly kills dumbledore. many people including myself have postulated that the whole scene was staged.
i was just struck by something else. malfoy is apparently confessing his plan throughout most of the last part of the chapter, but doesn't it seem odd that pretty much EVERYTHING he admits to, DUMBLEDORE says first? i mean, yes dumbledore is a smarty pants, but how does he guess so many details?
wondering if malfoy was under the imperius curse or something like it to go along with dumbledore's leading comments, in effect creating a story that covers up some other details that dumbledore does not want harry to know about...

not good theory (or at least wrong about lily taking her own life). Please Reread book 3 where Harry remembers (by being close to dementors) that his mother begged voldy to kill her instead of Harry, that way Harry got a barrier created from the love to him from his mother... i Dont believe Harry to be a Horcrux.

good point.....but how to explain the person leaving the exact horcrux that dumbledore and harry wanted to find...after all they did expect it to be the hufflepuff cup. It wasn't until they returned that Harry realized it wasn't real.
And another thing....harry figured out it wasn't real so quickly....why didn't dumbledore???

R.A.B is definately Regulus Black(not 100% sure on middle name but "Arctulus" is a favourite)I know this for sure because JKR practically admitted it in an interview i read and as some of you may be aware the initial B has been changed in books written in different languages to accomodate the translation of Black e.g R.A.Z in the Dutch version, Zwarts i believe (or near enough) being the translation of Black.The authority to do this would have come straight from JKR to ensure accuracy in her plot.As for Regulus discovering about LV's Horcruxes. This is not fact but i think my dates can't be too far out. Regulus would have left Hogwarts in 1980 at the same time that Slughorn finished his first stint as teacher. Did Slughorn perhaps leave and hide because he had let it slip to Regulus that he had given LV the info he required all those years before. Thus leading Regulus to eventually discoverthe whereabouts of the horcrux( i don't beleive that anyone at the time thought of multiple Horcruxes) and yes i believe the actual horcrux is the locker discovered in OOTP in Grimmauld place.
As for the other Horcruxes. Surely one will be located in the muggle orphange where LV lived,most likelt Hufflepuffs cup. The other must be at Hogwarts, either left there during his time at school by LV , placed there by a DE either student or teacher or my LV himself via the 2 cabinets that Malfoy used in HBP, LV new of them because of his time spent at Borgin & Burke. The second cabinet in Hogwarts was not always broken, it was damaged i think when Nearly Headless Nick broke to save Harry from Filch in COS, therefore ideal passage into Hogwarts. I think that this Horcrux is maybe the Tiara(Ravenclaws ?) that Harry sees in the Room of Requirement when hiding his book in HBP or if LV didn't manage to get something of Ravenclaws(unlikely to be Gryffindors)then it could be LV(Tom Riddles) shield for services to the school in COS or the shrieking library book also from COS although these are only ideas, i like the Tiara best.
Therefore i think the 6 Horcruxes( the 7th being LV himself and the last to be destroyed) are :
1. Ring from the Gaunt House-destroyed
2. Diary left with Lucius Malfoy-desroyed
3. Locket from cave,now in Grimmauld place or possibly stole by Mundungus and given to Aberforth in HBP-still around
4. Nagini the snake made i think in the Riddle house when killing Frank Bryce-still around
5. hufflepuff cup in orphanage-still around
6. Ravenclaws tiara or ? in Hogwarts ROR- still around.
I have some other theories if any one would like to hear them . I realise i am sad.

I realise that my spelling was not great on my last message but my typing is very poor. Just a couple of little things that i believe.
Dumbledore is dead unfortunately but Snape still remains faithful to Dumbledore and the Order. Snape is clearly a very powerfull wizard and will play a very important part.
Did Tom Riddle senior ever have another child after leaving Merope ( LV half brother) ? He would of had at least 15/16 years to pod another woman. Any Half brother or sister of LV would therefore be muggle born but would very unlikely to have any magic powers. But as we know with Lilly Potter/Evans was born of 2 muggles and was very magical as was Hermione and many others. Therefore perhaps LV had a magical half Bro or Sis. Not sure if any of this bears any relevance at all but you never know.
Just to add that in my previous comments about Horcruxes I believe the Tiara in the ROR to be a horcrux because JKR said in an interview after HBP that carefull re-readers of the books skould be able to locate one of the remaining Horcruxes. She may of course have meant the Locket but by remaining i believe she was talking about one of the 2 unidentified ones.

I had managed to avoid all 'spoilers' and have just finished HBP. I was shocked and totally surprised at the ending. Now I just feel so sad. It's like a real person who kept us safe has died. I can't believe he is really dead and yet I feel that is what happened regardless of why.
