the americans got a ,uch better cover for the 6th book than we did. but did u notice that there is alot of rings of fire in this book. well not a lot but ,ore than there has been in 1 book. e.g. the rings AD makes to defend them and the rings in the unbreakable vow.

Just wanted to jump in here on the RAB question. I was loving the idea of RAB being Sirius's brother Regulus. However, there is one inconvenient problem with that: Regulus is dead. I picked up Book 5 on CD-ROM to listen to during my commute and I heard the part where Sirius is going over the family tree tapestry for Harry and he says that Regulus had been a death eater and that he died long ago. Sorry....

I think there is a definite connection between Fawkes and Dumbledore. D will return. How, and in what form, I don't know. But seeing the cycle Fawkes goes through every so often - dying, then being reborn - I believe is a type and shadow of Dumbledore in one way or another.

NO COMPLAINTS HERE. That was the worst chapter in the book. They should spend more time on the duel between Harry and Voldemort.

if all the house elves were permanently removed from the plot i would be a happier fan. the only good scene with them in it was when dobby blasted malfoy sr.... and only because it was amusing.

Dumbledore insisted that he had to get back to Snape. Snape had an unbreakable vow with Snape to be killed. Now that the four people who loved Harry are dead, four very powerful wizards Lily James Sirius and Dumbledore, they will give Harry the strength to overcome Voldermort the power of LOVE! after all as Dumbledore said, death is the next great adventure for the organised mind... even if Snape could put a stopper in it!

Every other time we've seen the Avada Kedavra performed, the victim simply falls over dead.However, in Half-Blood Prince, when Snape curses Dumbledore with the same spell, Dumbledore violently flies up and away from the tower.WHY would this application of the Avada Kedavra be so different from every other time we've seen it?

Jump back to O of the P. What do we know about the archway that Sirius Black fell through? I know all the wizards are saying Sirius is dead. Perhaps he is. Perhaps he is merely in a different dimension...
But was there an explanation of what the archway was and I missed it? Is there a possibility that RAB could be Sirius?
