Quantum physics tells us that whatever we observe snaps into existence and becomes our reality. This is known as the Copenhagen interpretation referred to by Dowsett and Barna. The concept admits that everything in the subatomic world exists probabilistically and that measurement (our attention or attention span ) plays a vital role. Consequentially, our attention is what brings thoughts to life.
Dowsett and Barna explain how to become more self aware. Each night before going to bed, take a pen and paper to hand, and write down all of the salient thoughts during the day. The purpose of the exercise is to become aware of what you are dwelling on in everyday life. Listen to your own conversations and then purify your space. This is a good methodology for identifying negative thoughts and replacing them with more positive ones.
Change Your Conversation, Change Your Life is a wonderful book for organizing your thoughts and the direction of life itself. Self awareness is the condition precedent to taking positive action to change negativities which surround us all. There are times when changing the conversation is the right thing to do. Other times, we must stand our ground to affirm that the right conversation is taking place in the first place and change may be counterproductive. The presentation will appeal to a general readership.
