In October of 2008, the Australian band AC/DC released their 15th studio album, Black Ice. It is their first album in eight years and went number one almost immediately. It had the second highest one week sales for 2008, made history by debuting at number one on album charts in 29 countries, has been certified multi-platinum in eight countries, and certified platinum in twelve.

Beginning with the song "Rock and Roll Train," to the closing title track "Black Ice," the album has you rocking hard and fast. This is in your face AC/DC that will rock your world. And AC/DC: Black Ice (Guitar Tablature Edition) gives you the ability to play it like the boys play it.

The book contains the complete translation of each of the fifteen songs that make up Black Ice. The format is 12 inches by 9 inches and is large enough to read while playing.

AC/DC: Black Ice contains the break-down of both Malcolm's rhythm guitar, as well as Angus's lead work. It is presented in traditional treble staff and tablature notation with notes for each guitar. It contains the chord notation, as well as specific notes on what guitar does what at any given time. It contains all of the lyrics to each of the songs

At the back of AC/DC: Black Ice there is also a "Legend of Music Symbols" page that breaks down the notation, showing both staff and tablature in which a particular technique is explained. Some of the techniques include hammer-ons, pull-offs, Legato slides, pick scrapes, and various harmonics.

The layout of the book is similar to what you have with the album and this include the same pictures that accompany the liner sheet in the CD package.

All in all AC/DC: Black Ice is very well constructed, well laid out, and will make it very easy to work through the individual songs on the Black Ice CD.
