The deed was done then, and my Kindle Reader was on the way to me! I even received friendly email updates from Amazon, preparing me on how to receive my Kindle. It seemed as if I was adopting a new pet, instead of a handy electronic reading device! The package arrived on time, was neatly wrapped in Snowman wrapping paper and placed beneath the Christmas tree. Quite traditional, we are!
Well, Christmas arrived, as it always does. Wrapping paper hung from the ceiling fan, ribbons strung across the floor, as our two children attacked their pretty packages like ninja warriors. Finally, my Kindle, wrapped in Snowman paper, was placed in my lap by my son.
Overall, I am quite impressed with the Kindle Reader, and I particularly love the ink technology and no-glare screen, that really does mimic the feel of reading a "real" book page, rather than reading a book on a computer screen. I have already downloaded twenty books, five of which will be required for my upcoming semester! Already, my handy book storage device is paying off! It’s going to be a great year of reading, I think. Thanks to my Kindle!
