________________________

Full disclosure: I knew all but phloem and xylem. And I knew all 98 when I began my freshman year of high school.

So I guess college, med school, residency, and voracious reading ever since I was 13 couldn't quite get me over the phloem-xylem hump.

More disclosure: my interest in looking up phloem and xylem to find out what they mean is 0.

Now take the $4.95 you didn't spend on this little book and go buy yourself lunch.

Some day, in the not too distant future, you'll be able to click a little button and give me a penny for what I just gave you.

A penny here, a penny there... pretty soon you've got a bunch of pennies.

I browsed through these and there are probably 5-10 that I don't know and I'm going to be a freshman next year :| I wish the words were more challenging.
