Do you believe in life after death? How about reincarnation? Have you ever experienced déjà vu? Whether you have faith that there is more to life than what we experience in the here and now or you are skeptical about the possibility that anything exists outside of our present-day lives and the world we live in, more and more stories are surfacing from countless people who claim to experience spiritual journeys into the afterlife and/or venture back in time to revisit lives previously lived.

Regardless of where you fall on the “spiritual” spectrum, The Big Picture: Insights From The Spiritual World, written by Garry Gilfoy is a fascinating read and begs you to question your own beliefs and open your heart and mind to what is real, possible, and plausible. Gilfoy, born to a clairvoyant mother, had his first out-of-body experience at age 16. He went on to participate in several others. As a result, he developed a strong interest in this phenomenon and set out to explore and understand the mysteries of life and how our personal and collective situations fit into the grand scheme of things.

Through researching, sharing his otherworldly adventures, and having others relate their similar circumstances with him, Gilfoy provides conceivable evidence  that there is much more taking place than simply mere coincidences, “made up tales,” wishful thinking, or dreams remembered. In addition to recounting tales of his own sojourns into other dimensions, Gilfoy shares the revelations of: Helen, whose current existence is impacted by her previous life as a Holocaust victim; Joy’s death and return-to-life adventure; the guardian spirit who saved Keely’s soul; Caren’s healing angel; Trish’s death experience and the role karma plays in Lukas’s life.

No matter what your philosophy is on this subject matter, the information presented in The Big Picture is thought provoking and worth pondering. If you’re interested in gaining a new perspective about what your life purpose is all about, or you are simply looking to validate what you already believe, this book won’t disappoint.
