My Little Book of Bald Eagles is a wonderful and informative picture book for kids. It is unique in that the book is as informative as it is engaging for kids of all ages.

Hope Irvin Marston’s book is full of wonderful tidbits of information about bald eagles. I had no idea how large and majestic these birds really are. Their wings and body are huge, too. Not too many people have the luxury of seeing bald eagles up close and personal unless they live up in the extreme Northern part of the world, such as Alaska. So, I was grateful to see the vibrancy and beauty of this bird.

I must also give a lot of credit to Stephanie Mirocha, the illustrator of this wonderful book. The illustrations are colorful, vivid, and will engage the reader. No wonder the book won The Indie Book Award!

This book also has a lot of education value for home schooling parents. The book should also be part of any elementary school library and curriculum. Science teachers will find the book fascinating and will be able to talk about the bald eagle to the students with much ease thanks to the descriptions and illustrations throughout the book.
