Martha’s American Food: A Celebration of Our Nation’s Most Treasured Dishes, from Coast to Coast is filled with tasty American dishes from across the country. As an added perk, there are historical write-ups that relate to the both the recipes and the area of the country the dishes hail from. There are plenty of photos and food information to help you learn more about foodstuffs and dishes; it is a real treat.

This book shows the great varieties of American food, with regional specialties highlighted. The recipes are easy to recreate and will make you look like a star in the kitchen. Some of the favorites in our house were desserts, and they have been marked to make again. Those included: Indian Pudding, Key Lime Pie and Pineapple Upside Down Cake.
