Cleo Coyle whips up a yuletide tale that is brimming with bedlam, intrigue, and murder… and winter fun. Really!

When it comes to culinary mysteries, the true master is Cleo Coyle, a pseudonym for Alice Alfonsi and Marc Cerasini. This talented husband and wife duo capture the essence of family, friends, and fun in a series that isn’t losing momentum but is just starting to hit its stride. Holiday Buzz is the 12th installment in the highly successful Coffee House Mystery series starring an enchanting cast of characters who sparkle as luminously as sugarcoated snow when the sun casts its brilliant rays upon the frosty confection.

Coyle’s brilliantly on point when it comes to multitasking chaos, cooking, and crazy shenanigans. Looks like the eggnog is always spiked with delectable goodness and delicious spice over at the Coyles, huh? Cheers!

Once again, Clare and the all of the Village Blend players are celebrating the holidays in New York City as only New Yorkers can, so enjoy the visit–cookies are involved, so read at your own mouthwatering risk (wink!). Village Blend coffeehouse manager Clare Cosi is celebrating the holidays in the city and is on the hunt for a killer.

At the Great New York Cookie Swap, Clare is in charge of the beverage provisions, as pastry prodigies bake up their most succulent morsels for charity. As folks enjoy the merriment and sip on Clare’s illustrious fa-la-la-la lattes, Clare’s jollity screeches to a halt and her spirits come tumbling down when she stumbles across the body of a diligent baker’s associate.

The NYPD suspect a serial assailant whose mounting offenses have become recognized as “The Christmas Stalkings.” Detective Mike Quinn, Clare’s suitor, discovers a motive leading him to consider that there are other menacing forces at play. Clare is rather dubious of her boyfriend’s theories until she happens upon another murdered body and becomes a bull’s eye herself. Hijinks ensue as Clare launches into a holiday investigation centering around “Saint Nick,” as she merrily steers clear of a couple of reality TV prima donnas.

Holiday Buzz is the best treat to warm you on a chilly winter’s eve. So, grab the covers, cocoa, marshmallows, and enjoy! As always, this installment includes cookie and holiday recipes!

Psst: What you need to take note of is all the decadent goodness nestled inside Holiday Buzz. You may consider adding an extra 45-60 minutes a day to your fitness regime. How come? ‘Cause all of the scrumptious goodies don’t come without a drawback… and trust me, honey buns, your buns will puff up with lots of back. Let’s face it, culinary cookie faces–not everyone can carry off Coco Austin’s derrière!
