In Answers to Satisfy the Soul, author Jim Denney attempts to answer twenty of "Life's Most Perplexing Questions." Denney is no stranger to writing non-fiction with nearly seventy published books under his belt and yet he admits in his introduction that this book, “surprised [him] in many ways.” It quite honestly surprised me, too. I didn’t think it was possible to write a book that answered philosophical questions like “Is it important to have a religion?” and “What is the meaning of life?” It’s a big task, but Denney faces each question head on and provides practical, thought-provoking answers.
Denny also states, "This is not the book I intended to write. Sure, I knew the questions from the outset – but the answers that emerged astonished me again and again.''
Denney's questions range from broad subjects such as, ''What is love?" to much deeper questions such as "Does God exist?" In the process of answering these questions, Denney comes up with some remarkable answers. His interviews with celebrities and experts give the book even more depth.
Having personally had the privilege of attending a series of lectures that were given by Denney, I know firsthand what a gifted writer and teacher he is. Answers to Satisfy the Soul went far beyond my expectations and touched my soul. Denney answered questions I didn't even know I had.Powered by Sidelines
