If you’re a music lover, then you know the power that music holds. It can calm a storm in your life, it can tell someone how you feel about them, it can speak about a break-up you had; music contains the stories of life.

As a musician you may play an instrument like piano or guitar or you may simply love to sing. No matter which way you approach it, one thing is for certain; you love music. Music is all around you each and every day. It’s on the radio in your home and in your vehicle. It’s in the stores where you shop and in the elevators you ride in.

Have you ever been searching for the right words that will tell someone what you’ve been trying to say to them for so long but just couldn’t think of the right things to say?

How many times have you turned on the radio and heard a song that speaks volumes and says everything you’ve been trying to say? If you’re like most people, this happens often because music seems to express all the things we want to say but just can seem to formulate on our own.

Alfred Music Publishing has put together an amazing compilation of sheet music entitled 152 of the World’s Most Beautiful Songs. This compilation is a must-have if you are a music lover. Designed for those who play piano, guitar, or sing this collection offers wide variety of songs.

It features some of the all-time classics like:

  • Danny Boy
  • The Anniversary Waltz
  • Singin’ in the Rain

In addition it features some favorites from the 1960s to the 1990s like:

  • At Last
  • Because You Loved Me
  • Bridge Over Troubled Water
  • Endless Love
  • Greatest Love of All
  • The Prayer

There is literally something for everyone in this collection. The sheet music is very easy to read with crystal clear notes and words to the songs. There simply isn’t a better collection out there on the market. I was impressed with this collection because of the variety of music that it offers. This compilation is a great choice for special events like weddings or anniversary parties. These are songs that will touch a person’s heart and make them smile.

From the youthful Puff the Magic Dragon to the romantic I Swear, this is the greatest collection to hit the music scene in a long time. This is one book every music lover must have.

  • I recognize the songs listed as considerable ones.

It is a great collection Dr. Maresca. I was very pleased with the variety of songs in this collection.

IMO the song selection is quite narrow, being only pop songs.

I don’t see how one can omit the great songs from opera, that we all know, even if only from a bugs bunny parody.

Or gems like “Der Abshied” from Mahlers “Song Of the Earth”, or Dvoraks “Song to the Moon” or the great wealth of wonderful arias and duets from Handels Oratorios and Bachs Cantatas.

Even in just the American Musical ouvre there are stunning songs of great beauty from musicals such as “West Side Story”, “South Pacific”, “Oklahoma”, etc.
