Anyone up for a Holidate? How about a giveaway?

Blogcritics Launches a Holidate Giveaway!

If we took a Holidate (Holidate), took some time to celebrate (celebrate), just one day out of life, it would be (it would be  so nice).  Classic Madonna, is there anything better than that?  Now, don't go telling me that there's no such song.  Surely it's that particular song which SOAPnet's new series Holidate is based on, isn't it?

What?  Have you not heard of Holidate?  Okay, here's the basic description – every week two women will switch cities and go on dates picked for them by the other (you know, it will be a friend, coworker, brother, etc., etc.).  That way these women can find out if perhaps a new setting can bring them the love that they're looking for.  Holidate is currently scheduled to air 10 episodes (the first having been this past week), one a week every Wednesday night at 10pm on SOAPnet.

Wow, that has nothing to do with the Madonna song does it, at least not without my making some crazy comparison that wouldn't be quite valid, does it?  I mean, Holidate does have a Facebook page (as I'm sure Madonna does), but that's not really enough, is it?

Plus, most importantly, Madonna isn't helping us out with a giveaway (at least not one I'm aware of), but Holidate totally is!  That's right, in support of Holidate, Blogcritics is giving away one (uno) prizepack which includes a Holidate cosmetic case and an iPod Shuffle!  And, I'm sure that if you own a copy of it, you can even load the iPod Shuffle with some classic Madonna (I myself like The Immaculate Collection).

As for our rules (these plus the ones on the entry page):
