Beyond good and del.icio.us

Filed under: Administrivia, Publicity — Eric Berlin @ 2:25 am

Now you can get del.icio.us with every Blogcritics story.

What the heck does that mean? Why, it’s all about tagging these days, and not in the graffiti way!

At the bottom of each Blogcritics story, you’ll find a link that will take you to del.icio.us. Once you’re registered and logged in (a quick and free process) you can then “share” any webpages you like by creating keywords or tags that describe them. How you create the tags is completely up to you, and is kind of fun and seriously useful in keeping track of stories that you like once you get the hang of it.

Click here for more info about del.icio.us.

On certain select stories, you’ll also find links to sites such as digg, Shoutwire, and reddit. By visiting these sites, you can “vote” for Blogcritics stories. The more popular the story, the more people get a chance to visit Blogcritics and read all of the great stories that get published each day.

Filed under: Publicity — Eric Berlin @ 2:07 am

Sports Editor Matthew T. Sussman’s piece looking at the bashing of ESPN.com columnist and Cold Pizza sports “pundit” Skip Bayless made its way up the sports cable mountain and was yakked about on the Cold Pizza show itself this week!

For the record: I’m no fan of Bayless, so I’ll be happy to take a shot for the year’s supply of free gas. With the number of miles I drive every week, that’s looking quite a deal!
