On a recent phone call, Captain EO and I realized that we don’t really have blogs of our own anymore. Eric gave up Tres Producers to start Blogcritics.org, and as the site has consumed more and more and more of my free time lately, I haven’t updated W6 Daily in months.

Which wouldn’t be a problem, except that Blogcritics.org is growing up. As the site grows, we’re pushing for an “online magazine” feel, which means little bloggy posts just don’t fit any more. This isn’t really a problem for most Blogcritics, as they all have blogs of their own on which to post their bloggy thoughts. But Eric and I, well, we need an outlet.

At the same time, as we talked about this, we realized that this blog can serve as so much more than that. Here we can draw attention to overlooked posts, say nice things about writers we really like, and explain in detail why we do some of the things we do. There is a Yahoo!Group for Blogcritics to learn all of these things, but you must be a member of the site to be part of that group.

And so here it is, the Blogcritics.org blog, where you’ll be able to learn a little bit more and Eric Olsen and Phillip Winn, co-owners of Blogcritics.org. And probably a little bit more about Blogcritics.org itself, too!
