That their torments be many and can only be explained in the darkest Yiddish proverbs by the cruses of a thousand rabbis. That the imps of a far-distant abyss visit each of them, every other night, for all the rest of their lives to keep their eyes propped open and their minds restless through the night, so they awaken tired in Hellhelm where there is no mornings. And if this does not get them to change their evil ways – for them I further wish:

Black Like Me

th[2]

I am dismayed by the many police atrocities against black people in America in my life time; all of them were dark unholy events. Many of them happened; were talked about, and in time forgotten. None of them have never been rectified or in any way made right by making culprits accountable. I do not understand how this society can continue talking about a being a just society, a democracy, and the rule of law without first addressing these egregious acts.
I do not understand how our government can, with a straight face, accuse other nations of human rights violations without first making an all-out effort to acknowledge and reverse its own mistreatment of black Americans.  We cannot afford to continue to sweep bad stuff under the rug and go on living like we are all up-right. We are a sleeping society, unaware of what’s going on in our lives and in our society and in our name.
We are a people so deeply asleep we are unaware of some basic things about our very existence; we breathe but are unaware of our breath, we talk but are unaware of our thoughts; we see without seeing and we hear without hearing; we are not mindful, and we live on remote control. The consequence of our un-mindfulness will destroy us eventually. Right now we are suffering from a paralyzing paranoia of each other and all of our institutions and agencies. Our condition is getting worse by the day.
We need a great awakening. We need a lot of righteous actions. We need to become aware of our actions as a society. We need to right some historic wrongs.
Just recently we witnessed a white policeman murder a fleeing black man then rearranged the crime scene to support his action. We now know what policemen do when no one’s watching. If this act was not caught on camera, this policeman would have been protected and supported by the police department, the police union, the judiciary system, the press and most of the white public. Legal procedures that leads to Quality Immunity makes them free and outside of the law – therefore also free of any responsibilities This is the universal truth in such matters and nothing can change that past; fact is, almost nothing can alter this pattern in the future, so acting out of utter frustration and feelings of downright powerlessness I chant a hoax on them all. Here is what I wish for the lot of them.
That their torments be many and can only be explained in the darkest Yiddish proverbs by the curses of a thousand rabbis. That the imps of a far-distant abyss visit each of them, every other night, for all the rest of their lives to keep their eyes propped open and their minds restless through the night, so they awaken tired in South of Hell where there are no mornings. And if this does not get them to change their evil ways – for them I further wish:
That the demons of Mount Albino Bluff walk to school with their children whispering accounts of their evil deeds in young ears and that these same demons sit unseen the day though guiding these young minds toward epidemic distractions that illustrates the distinctions between good and evil. That their wives will lust for the gravediggers spade in clear daylight and cook pig nipples, honey and menstrual blood for supper except on meal less Sundays. And if this does not get them to change their evil ways – for them I further wish:
That their parents are swept up by flying ghouls and flown to a desert where up is down, slavery is liberty, and imprisonment is freedom. There humans are raised for consumption and baboons ruled, ugliness is beauty, and God takes a working vacation on a mirage oasis six months of the year. And if does not make them change their evil ways – for them I further wish:
That they are separated on the sea of tearful regrets after falling from a small lifeboat and taking to a water Sodom to live with she-devils of the ocean floor; the mothers fattened with sardines for illiterate mooncalves and the fathers rehearsed repeatedly in the requirements of immediate obedience to blue authority and is shot with each delayed response. And if this does not get them to change their evil ways – for them I further wish:
That they shall wake up in American society one morning, black like me.
