Plies – Definition of Real
Plies sophomore release, Definition of Real has hit the urban mainstream top 200 charts, landing at #2. It’s also hit #5 on the Hot 100 Radio Airplay charts, and has sold twice as many albums in the same amount of time as his debut release, The Real Testament.

Want to check out streaming MP3 from the album? Look no further than the Plies’ MySpace Profile page.

While your there, check out the current contest in which two diamond chains will be given away. One winner will receive a “Plies Bust It Baby” chain and the other will win a diamond “Goon” chain.

Plies also recently announced details concerning his very own non-profit organization, Big Gates and Plies Power Of Visions Foundation, Inc., and a scholarship program, the “Somebody Loves You” Scholarship Fund. The non-profit organization will provide legal aid and council to those who need it, but cannot afford it, and the scholarship funds are designated for students attending qualified colleges and universities who have a parent who is incarcerated.

The Verve – “Love is Noise
If you want to hear The Verve’s new single, “Love is Noise,” check out their MySpace Profile page. It was released in the U.S. on June 23.

The Verve, an English alternative rock band, formed in 1989. At that time, the band consisted of lead vocalist Richard Ashcroft, guitarist Nick McCabe, bassist Simon Jones and drummer Peter Salisbury. Simon Tong later became a member. In 1999, the band announced they were through, but decided to reunite this past year.

Karina Pasian – “Can’t Find The Words”
Ever since winning Star Search in 2003, Karina Pasian has been building a name for herself. A high point in this young lady’s life happened last year when she played at the White House during Black Music Month (June). The performance was of “Misty” and Keriana commented on the performance saying, “Emilio Estefan, who has been a friend of my family for years, helped to put the show together, and invited me to be a part of it. Later, my brother told me that I was the first Dominican to play at the White House, and that made me very proud.”

BC Music Goodie Bag has a sneak peak at Pasian’s new single, “Can’t Find the Words.” You can also check out the video to her first single “16@war” at Youtube.
