This may not be the number one card on the market anymore, but at this price it will definitely raise the level of graphics of your PC if you still have a factory installed card. It also represents a huge value right now as the lowest Froogle price is $120. Also, it appears that there are no moving fan parts if you are going for that quieter PC angle.
My last video card was really great other than the fact that it sounded like a jet taking off. This one would provide much relief from that.

I don’t know what technology is going to come to storage next, but the price of hard drives have fallen really dramatically. This drive in particular is just over $0.35 per gigabyte. You will run out of physical space and lines in the PC before you wouldn’t be able to afford more hard drive space in these PC’s. Now you can finish storing the rest of your MP3’s as well as the 3 episodes of Firefly that you downloaded last week.
I know the industry is consolidating and all, but this is even a little more encouraging than I thought it would be for us consumers.

The world couldn’t wait for the Apple announcement of what was coming next. The world wanted to know what the first Intel-based Macs would be like and now we have the answer. MacBook Pro with a dual-core processor on a laptop. I just got my first dual-core PC and the speed of multitasking is totally unbelievable. Now Apple is bringing that to a laptop? Amazing.
It wasn’t the announcement of the Plasma TV/Computers that some like Robert X. Cringely were predicting, but maybe that announcement is coming in conjunction with expanded video downloading through iTunes or iFilm if that is what they are going to call it.
Either way, Apple has now proved that they will be around long after the iPod turns into the cassette walkman of this age.

I never ever fill out rebate forms. I am just not good at remembering to do it. I know that is a really stupid thing to not do, but I am a fancy and modern guy, and I just hate filling out paper work, sending things in and then waiting, only to get a check in the mail that requires I drive to the damn bank.
