Living in Deadwood

I, for one, consider it just what the HBO original series advertisements call all their creations: “original, groundbreaking, award-winning,” etc. Deadwood (with its season two finale scheduled for May 22) is the unpolished, warts-and-all truth about the settling of the American frontier. The Art of Listening

Some observers have taken note of Senator Clinton's recent shift and reacted with a conniption of resounding proportion. But I have a different take on the recent speeches and remarks. I think Hillary might be the first post-2004 debacle Democrat to actually "get it." Read More »

Memorandum: Michael Moore

Memorandum To: Michael Moore From: The American Public Subject: Your Attempt at “Extreme Makeover” Having seen your recent appearance at the “People’s Choice” awards, I think it would be appropriate to make a few comments on what was, apparently, an effort on your part to improve your physical appearance.
