wATERS of march is the worst song in this album, it doesnt express what the song is all about, they just killed it. But the rest of the Cd is exelent, Natalie Cole's song is one of the best with Acode ft Vanessa da mata and Agua de Beber ft Will I am.
This album is good and all but Timeless was far better. It was nice to hear this old classics songs whith another touch.

I listened to part of this CD and decided it was so bad that I better listen to the old Mendes sessions and when I did I decided that only "Brazil 65" was worth listening to again. The Mendes recordings just seem bland and derivative. Much better to listen to Jobim directly.

Very nice review, but Herb Alpert wasn't Sergio's A&M partner, he was his boss! Herb Alpert & his partner, Jerry Moss, signed Sergio to A&M Records and Herb took them on the road as opening act for The Tijuana Brass. The rest is history...
