Making the Rounds at General Hospital: Johnny Covers for Lulu

As much as I don’t like Carly, I also don’t like this side of Kate. In the last few weeks, she’s been saying some nasty things about Carly to people who love her, which is not really a smart thing. Plus, it also shows a petty and snobbish side of Kate that is thoroughly unattractive.
When Jax got home, Carly confronted him about both the picture and the kiss. He explained that the picture was not what it seemed, and that the night he and Kate kissed was the night Michael was left at the convalescent home. He was feeling rejected and lonely, but it was a mistake. While she was willing to believe him about the photo, Carly did not forgive the kiss and stormed out to Jason’s. After Carly vented about how wrong Jax was for kissing Kate, Jason reminded her that she slept with Sonny that night and has still not told Jax. True to Carly logic, she didn’t see that as being as bad as Jax and Kate, since their fling was new. Sonny and Carly had history.
Jason had finally had enough and Carly went back home, where Jax was waiting. He tried to convince her nothing was going on with Kate and he had no interest in her at all. When Carly asked him to drop the investment in Crimson, he said he would after the launch and he could get his money back. The couple kissed and made up, but Carly still looked upset.
Robin returned home to find Anna trying to bulletproof her apartment. Mother and daughter talked about Robin’s recent behavior with Patrick. Anna’s revelation that Robin was trying to control Patrick because she couldn’t control her HIV status clearly upset Robin. She left to get some air and found Jason at Kelly’s. Robin asked for his advice and he came back with some good insight about if Robin had changed because of the pregnancy, there was a good possibility that Patrick had, too. Elizabeth showed up, which caused Jason to leave, and gave Robin some more perspective by saying she should at least consider the possibility that Patrick means what he says.
At the hospital, Noah unexpectedly stepped into surgery with Patrick. During friendly conversation about Robin over the operating table, Noah found out he was going to be a grandfather. He immediately took Robin’s side, saying that Patrick would be an absentee father and even went so far as to offer to testify on Robin’s behalf. This not only stunned Patrick, but Robin and Anna as well. While Patrick, Anna, and Noah argued about the trial, Robin stepped in and defended Patrick while also telling both parents that this was not about them. That said, she made it clear that she had not changed her mind on the subject of Patrick being a father, and though she loved him, she would go forward with the hearing and explain her side to the judge.
