Grace is Gone is a movie that looks absolutely heartbreaking. I am sure it is going to be a tough one to watch. It is the story of a father (John Cusack) whose wife dies in Iraq. He is now faced with the unenviable task of telling their two daughters the terrible news. I missed this on the big screen, but look forward to catching it on DVD. It is coming to DVD on May 27, 2008 and will include an interview with director James Strause and John Cusack, a look at the real world inspiration, and a look at TAPS - the organization that provides support for people who have lost loved ones to war.
