Judge for yourself below:

Disturbed - "Inside the Fire"

Disturbed hit the ground running with their triple-platinum debut The Sickness, back in 2000. They have been able to maintain a pretty steady fanbase over the years, despite having a sophomore slump with Believe. This release saw their style change somewhat as David Draiman's vocal style developed. Anyway, we are nearing the June 3, 2008 release date of their fourth album, Indestrctible.

To help promote the new album, they have released the video for the first single, "Inside the Fire," a song dealing with suicide. Says Draiman, at Blabbermouth.net, of the song: "It is based on a true story of my own, where when I was about 16 or so, I had a girlfriend of mine commit suicide, and it was an unbelievably horrific and painful experience."

"And it was cathartic to make the song," Draiman continues. "It really took me having a certain mindset to do it, and I had to wait 'til I was ready."

I like the song and the video.

Meshuggah - "Bleed"

Earlier this year, Meshuggah released one of the best albums of the young frame. Now, I have seen a video for the song "Bleed," and it is pretty weird. It has the demonic fallen angel looking thing, twitching cockroaches, a scared looking guy, and of course some heavy music. I like the video and I like the song, although it isn't my favorite from the album. Check out the video below:

Chris,

I like this. A lot actually. This may even be your "mest" (misspelling quite intentional) work yet. All kidding aside though, I'd actually really like to see this become a regular feature here in music. Just try to use a spellchecker first okay good buddy?

Nice work though.

Yea.. Great New Feature!

I'm just as psyched to see Mr. Barlow back where he belongs instead of being a Police Officer! He just f*cking rocks & I think it motivates the band to write better material. I still like Ripper Owens & I hope he can put together a talented bunch to release some similar stuff to his Iced Earth/Judas Priest days.

As for Sangre... *Ugh* They sound like a freakin High School band!! Just pure crap, dude! 20 seconds and all I heard was an loose mess. Sorry, gotta say what I feel...

Thanks guys. I will see how it goes, I only have so much time, ya know! However, these are fun and quite easy to put together as I do them one piece at a time with a weekly compile. Well, that's how the movie ones go.

I hope to make this branch out a permanent one. Be sure to keep your eyes on Fridays!
