The American Idol top four results show began with the usual group performance. The top four sang "Reeling in the Years," and well - let's just say I didn't think it was one of the better group performances of the year. Afterward, Ryan got straight to it and called David Archuleta to stage. David A looked nervous, but unless something really wacky had happened, I figured he'd be safe. And he was!

Next up, a video of the top four's trip to Las Vegas was shown. They seemed to have a great time from the moment they boarded their plane all the way through meeting the cast of the Cirque du Soleil "Love" show (which features Beatles music). Moving on, Ryan proceeded with the eliminations by calling David Cook to center stage.

David C appeared as nervous as David A had only a few moments earlier, but again, I felt positive that he would be safe. Again, I was correct. Unless something really wild happens next week, I am sure we'll have an all-David finale. Then Ryan brought Syesha Mercado and Jason Castro on stage, but didn't reveal who was leaving at that point. It was a little too early in the show for that!

Up next was a pretty cool music video with the top four in bullfighter costumes, singing Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire." This video was quite entertaining and made me chuckle a few times. After the video, Ryan opened up the phone-in question part of the show. Nothing really remarkable occurred here, just more filler that garnered a few laughs. Next up — Maroon Five performed their new single, "If I Never See Your Face Again."

Time was tick-tocking away, and poor Jason and Syesha still didn't know which one of them was headed out the door. There was still one more bit of filler left until they'd find out - and that was Bo Bice singing his new single, "Witness." It was nice seeing Bo on stage again, and Ryan chatted for a minute about his family.

Finally, it was time to send either Jason or Syesha home. It was no huge surprise when Ryan announced it was Jason Castro's last week on American Idol. While I've enjoyed a lot of Jason's performances, I felt the right decision had been made.

So that wraps up another week of American Idol. Next week, we learn who our top two will be. As I've said, my guess is it will be the two Davids. Anyone disagree?
