Miley's in Trouble Now
Published May 05, 2008
Yes, the pictures were private, but, she shouldn't have taken them in the first place. This isn't the first time a picture like this has leaked through, if you all recall the Vanessa Hudgens incident. It's not as if all teenage girls take pictures of themselves in their underwear either, I wouldn't be caught dead doing it, and I know plenty of other girls who wouldn't, either. She could have gone without taking the pictures, but once again, she's a teenager. She's going to do stupid stuff.
Besides, how can she not get in trouble when she's constantly being compared to Britney Spears? People are just looking for the bad stuff about her. I know that most artists and actors hate being compared to someone no matter how true it is, and to face facts, Britney Spears is not the best person to be compared to. Sure, they're similar — they're both young, blonde, original Disney girls. However, does that automatically mean every girl that comes through is going to be like Britney? I haven't heard of anyone comparing Ashley Tisdale to her. Miley seems to be the only one cursed with that. If they keep pushing that reputation on her, eventually Miley's going to follow it.
Do I think this whole incident will ruin Miley's career? Not really. Vanessa seemed to bounce from it well, and hers was worse. However, I just have to wonder if this is the last incident. It better be — Disney is still upset about this one.

I was going to write an article on this.
Ok, I'm actually the exact opposite of you. I don't really care about the boyfriend pic, but that wasn't really that bad. Tons of girls do that and no one really cares.
I have a huge problem with the Vanity Fair pic. I just cannot handle that her father let someone do this in the name of 'art.' This is not art. This is horrible. Honestly, I am a big fan of Miley and I believe she's really talented, but that's just disappointing.
Well, I don't know if Billy Ray even knew this was going on, he might not have been there (not exactly helping his case as a father, but still probably true). I just thought that the pictures she took privately would have a worse effect on pre-teens then the Vanity Fair ones. Either way, both pictures were kind of stupid mistakes. It's one I hope she doesn't make again.
Thanks for comments,
Katelynn
Billy Ray knew about the vanity fair articles. I don't know if he knew about the others. I think I read it on Yahoo news.
I'm so tired of all of this nonsense. Anyone care if the teennage boys on the cable shows are showing too much skin? What, NO?
Europe would kill you.
MILEY IS JUST A DUMB GIRL THAT WHANTS TO BE IN A PLAYBOY AND HAVE SEX WITH EVERY GYE SHE SEES SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEE IIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA DDDDDDDDDDUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB BBBBBBBIIIIIIITTTTTTCCCCHHHHHHHHHHH

Miss Miley is certainly not trying to be a stupid slut like Lohan and Spears. Those pictures with the boyfriend were fairly mild private moments. Having been smacked upside the head with them like this, I predict she'll avoid doing that again.
The Vanity Fair cover is kinda tough. That more or less came out looking unmistakably slutty. But I don't think it's really fair for folks to hold that against her. Her people were there at the shoot, and probably should have objected.
But the specific circumstances are that Vanity Fair is calling to give you the cover of their magazine, and they're sending probably the most famous, prestigious photographer in the world. Annie Leibovitz is truly a photographic artist if there is such a thing. I could easily imagine the Cyrus people maybe having some misgivings, but trusting the judgment of their famous photographer.
If you want to be crappy with someone over that photo, it probably should be Leibovitz and Vanity Fair mostly.
