I think you're on to a good thing. Over the last couple years I've heard critics claim that it would take many years to recoup the extra investment to purchase a hybrid with the meager savings in gas expense, but everything changes with todays higher prices. If I were in the market for a new car I'd very seriously consider one. But first I've got to exhaust the five cars I already own. And they're already paid for. And they all run perfectly and look like new. Too bad.
