PC Game Review: Wedding Dash

Speaking of Diner Dash, it's not surprising that PlayFirst would tie in their latest game with their hit franchise. Yes, Flo appears in Wedding Dash, which is a nice little nod to Diner Dash fans, but they take it too far. It's one thing for a small cameo, but having Flo appear at end of nearly each level, not to mention helping out every several levels, is overkill. A game shouldn't use popular characters from a successful game as a crutch.

In spite of minor variances, Wedding Dash offers the same addictive and fun game play as the Diner Dashes. You'll have a hard time resisting the urge to play "just one more level", not to mention the overwhelming temptation to replay levels to achieve Expert Score on all of them. The characters and cute and funny, especially when they dance at the end of their meal. I also chuckled several times at the bride and groom's conversations, which are easily missed in your frenzied attempt to make all the guests happy.

While Wedding Dash may initially appeal to Diner Dash veterans, anyone who likes casual (but challenging!) arcade games will enjoy this game. So when you walk down the aisle (of your local Best Buy or other favorite store), pick up a copy of Wedding Dash.

Wedding Dash is rated E10+ by the ESRB for Use of Alcohol. This game is available on Macintosh, Windows PC, and online.
