President of the United States? Really? Does every action show have to show a character in that role? (Didn’t Heroes do that?) I hope that means we’ll see John Schneider back. I thought he was better in Smallville than The Dukes of Hazzard, and this show misses him.

May 8 – “Quest”: Lex is attacked by a cloaked stranger who carves Kryptonian symbols into his chest - a message for Clark. Chloe and Clark investigate and discover one member of the Veritas clan has survived and is hiding in a church. Clark and Lex race to be the first to find this mysterious Veritas member, who holds the key to Clark's survival. Kristin Kreuk, Erica Durance, Aaron Ashmore and Laura Vandervoort also star.

May 15 (season finale) “Arctic”: No episode summary yet, but for those not fearful of spoilers, SpoilerFix will hook you up with hints. Here’s a teaser — the Fortress of Solitude (I love that place!).

Supernatural

There are four episodes left in the season, and according to writer/producer Sera Gamble, they will deal with Dean’s demon deal. The last three episodes will, anyway. The first is a standalone episode that follows the tradition of other unconventional episodes like “Tall Tales” and “Hollywood Babylon”. The upcoming dates, episode summaries, and titles are again courtesy of the CW and SpoilerFix.

April 24 – “Ghostfacers”: Sam and Dean take a break from their usual gig to star in a gritty reality show called "Ghostfacers" which chronicles the pursuit of the paranormal. Ed Zeddmore (guest star A. J. Buckley) and Harry Spengler (guest star Travis Wester) have created a radically different and sometimes violent show full of profanity that takes them to the Morton Mansion, an abandoned estate which becomes one of the most haunted places in America one night each year. However, as their team begins to get picked off in grisly manners not fit for television, they realize they are in over their heads.

May 1 – “Long Distance Caller”: Dean is stunned after he receives a phone call from his dad (guest star Jeffrey Dean Morgan) who tells him he has a solution to get Dean out of his deal. Sam and Dean fight because Sam is skeptical that it is really John on the other end of the phone and warns Dean not to listen to him but Dean disagrees and sets off on his own path to follow his father's orders.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan! Daddy Winchester! How exciting, even if it will only be his voice.

May 8 – “Time is On My Side”: As time runs out for Dean, Sam convinces him to head to Eerie, Pennsylvania to investigate a possible zombie case. Instead, they discover Doc Benton (guest star Billy Drago), a real-life doctor who, in 1816, abandoned his medical practice to follow his obsession with finding the key to eternal life by drugging people and stealing their vital organs. Meanwhile, Bobby finds out where Bela is hiding, and Dean heads out to confront her, leaving Sam behind to deal with the good doctor. Dean and Bela battle it out for the last time, and Dean leaves Bela in a desperate, and possibly fatal, position.
