I agree with this review completely. I think Ashlee's hardest critics forget the simplest part of the Ashlee Simpson package - She is a pop singer, and, as far as pop singers of today go, nobody gets it quite as right as Ashlee when it comes to calculating exactly what kind of sound and exactly what kind of songs she needs to put on her records. No, she doesn't have an amazing voice, but I find that almost irrelevant when listening to her songs, and, frankly, if she elicits that kind of feeling, who says she's doing wrong?

Interesting review. I saw her on Dancing with The Stars last night and I was shocked. No not by her new nose but by the song she sang- I ACTUALLY liked it?!?
My problem with Ashlee, aside from the silly way she spells her first name, is that her songs stink. I mean I love cheesy pop when it's honest about itself. Her previous material always tried(and failed) to be so serious. Plus, the phony rocker chick edge never really fooled anyone.
But I like this new song. Sure, it's discount Gwen Stefani but it's catchy and unlike her other songs it doesn't make me want to slit my wrists.
