Making the Rounds at General Hospital - Facing the Truth
Published April 21, 2008
A shining spot of the week was Patrick and Robin chugging along on their road to reconciliation. They attended the reopening of The Haunted Star and after an evening full of pregnancy stereotypes ended in each other's arms. My complaint that we've not seen nor heard from any of the future grandparents of the Scrubs baby is soon to be rectified. Anna Devane will drop in, possibly literally, this week to visit Robin and receive the news. No sign if Finola Hughes' return will bring Rick Springfield back in as Dr. Noah Drake.
In direct defiance to Claudia and Johnny and in the first step of his plan for Trevor's demise, Ric continued to work for Anthony Z's release from the mental hospital. After securing his transfer to Shadybrook, without guards because of his paralysis, he must have been shocked to learn Anthony wasn't paralyzed at all. The crazy man insists he doesn't have the strength to walk on his own yet, but that's only a matter of time. I wonder if Ric will have any remorse at all when Anthony goes on another killing spree?
Spoilers and Rumors
Carly once again is told by Patrick and Robin that Michael's coma is permanent. When she protests, the doctors inform her it may be best. If by some miracle he did wake up, his brain damage would be severe. She looks for hope from other specialists, but all the doctors concur.
Jason and Spinelli are hot on Dr. Devlin's trail, thanks to some inside information supplied by Nicholas.
Anthony puts a hit out on Claudia. Her rescue comes in an unlikely form.
Kate's 'Olivia secret' is about to see the light of day.
Anna Devane returns to Port Charles April 24!

They really can't (or should I say shouldn't - they'll do whatever they want whether or not it makes sense) pawn this one off on Sonny.
When they were first together on camera Kate and Sonny had a rather lengthy discussion about who they had never actually been together when they were younger. My guess is if Olivia is in fact a daughter, she's Trevor's. And I'm wondering if there is some connection to The Z kids. There has to be some reason Claudia hates Kate so much.
There are rumors floating that both Johnny and Claudia are going to end up being Trevor's and not Anthony's.
Well, Trevor do get around, but that wd mean he bagged both of Anthony's wives; yet it wd explain why he's willing to kill Claudia.
I don't make up the rumors, I just try to pass them on...
I do believe we're going to find out Johnny is actually Trevor's, I've felt that one since the warehouse explosion when Trevor was so worried about him and then called him 'son' when he saw he was okay.
I'd be more surprised if they make Claudia his. I'm not sure how tptb are going to handle the fact Sarah Brown's return hasn't generated the ratings they were hoping for. She might be gone before too long.
As far as "Olivia"? Could be Trevor's, that would be interesting, but somehow I think Claudia is tied to all of it. There's got to be a reason Claudia hates Kate so much.
I must say, though, I think the actor who plays Trevor is a GREAT villain. He's not operatic like Cesar Faison nor Ryan Chamberlain. He's not deeply twisted like Grant Putnam nor Kevin O'Connor or Manny Ruiz, and he's not clearly disturbed like Sonny. He's just a bastard with a mean streak.
And Bruce Weitz is scary good as Anthony.
Yes, I do agree they've done a great job with the character of Trevor. I also think Bruce Weitz is great. Too bad it's rumored one of the two is on the way out.
This is soapdom's big flaw, thinking that fans won't watch older actors, yet they are usually far more interesting precisely because they are older and wiser and their faces convey much more. DAN
So do you really think Olivia is still going to happen? I was afraid since it happened during the writers strike, that it might be scrapped.
I agree that there has to be a reason for Claudia to hate Kate so much. Because if there is no reason other than Sonny and the ONS, I would be very disappointed. Do you think the "stick" and "skinny" comments have anything to do with her hate?
I always wondered if Johnny might be Kate's child. Not Trevor's....maybe something happened to Kate when she was going to run away with Sonny and it was something other than what she told him.

Kate's 'Olivia secret' is about to see the light of day.
Oh no, not another product of Sonny's super-semen?
